SHA started in 1978 as a cooperative and has grown into a well-respected social housing provider with strong roots in East London. We manage homes inside some of London’s most underserved communities. We are proud to say that our staff mix and board actively promote diversity, with over 51% from ethnic minority backgrounds.
This new website has been a co-produced with input from residents and staff members and the design team. We have listened to our residents and want to make it easier to access our services both online and in-person.
Inside this new website you will find feedback forms on many of the pages to ensure dialogue remains open. It has been designed to be accessible as possible for our residents to work with your existing screenreading and translation tools on your computer.
On this page you will find a drop-down menu of our services, the policies that guide us and local information and updates that affect your home and environment.
SHA’s 7 key priorities going forward:
- Create homes where people choose to live
- Actively listen to our residents and utilise feedback
- Prioritise Heath & Safety for all of our residents
- Improve our customer interface and services
- Co-create communal spaces where people want to visit
- Assess how Health & Wellbeing can be improved for residents
- Work in collaboration towards a home-building scheme
Our residents have told us that not everyone is digital-ready, so please call or email us to arrange an in-person meeting with a staff member who will listen and deal with any concerns in a timely manner.
We hope you are enjoying your residence with Spitalfields and that this visit to our website has been pleasant one. If we can make improvements, please use the feedback form to let us know.
